Nah they sell for about £2k over a normal GTi, i.e. you'd pay 8k for an anni in same nick & miles as a bogo GTi costing £6k, when you come to sell it you'll see a similar trend. They dont hold value over norm gti spec they just cost more to begin with & drop accordingly.

dont they do a 170 tdi now?
In mk5? Probably, I know Audi do a 170bhp diesel, there closely linked with VW.
Yes they do a 170tdi in both the a3 and golf
TBH the 140 TDi is a better engine
IMO its not but thats for another thread

Bitch
robbo - You know im biased but id say if you can find a nice one get it, they hold there value very well and are great cars imo.
Off the top of my head heres a quick spec which they got over the normal gti's..
Came in either 150bhp diesel or 180bhp petrol
Black headlights
Front valance
Rear valance
sideskirts
18" BBS RC wheels
Spoiler
climate control
6disc in dash changer
gear knob and gaitor
steering wheel
clocks
handbrake lever and gaitor
brushed metal interior trim bits
pedal covers
Recaro seats with red stiching and 'gti recaro' stitched into them
Black headlining and pillars. (very nice to stroke )
Black seat belts with red stitching
Smaller mirrors than the gti's
lowered 15mm more than gti's.
Heres a couple pics of my interior, first one was when i first got it so was dirty dirty!

And a pic of mine does still have bits i need to get but its getting there.

I absolutely love it
With the diesels i know you can get a stupid torque figure out of them after just a remap but you may need to upgrade the clutch as they are know to start slipping after depending on who does your map.
Hope this helps mate

Oh, and with the diesels you dont get the cut out on the rear valance with the exhaust showing, but with the petrols you do.

I can't find any red anni's for sale, don't actually recall ever seeing one either
Rob, checked AT and PH (there's a red anni spec one on there but doesn't say it's an anni model).
