replacing an inlet manifold is basicly a form of pulse tuning, make sure you get the volume of the inlet box correct, slightly too big or small and it will affect the engines performance.
I did all of these calculations ages ago, its actually quite hard to get this measurement perfect from ust using a hollow box. Here is the one I designed, never went into manufacture properly due to costs. Did make 2 nad one is fitted onto a c16xe Nova with omex management and cams and it made 161 bhp, same spec with a 'box' type inlet struggled to make 152 bhp and the power and torque curves were far better with the 'tube' design:

It'll be going on my x16xe Nova first and i'll be putting one on the Corsa too  Car is going great, have v6 brakes on the front now and am on a mission to find suspension capable of Irish roads  Should be getting a set of Koni's soon though id say.

No you cant im afraid ..Nothing changed to the looks so far, im going to invest in a set of Steiny skirts alright but that'll be about the limit...Maybe a C20XE in the near future....Dont worry i wont go too mad, she's being well looked after anyway
