Brown has been solid this season but will be shown to be utter shite when he joins the revolution at Newcastle next year

And to be fair I can not think of a complete English back anymore, which is strange as we always made good goalkeepers and defenders.

The are either to concerned with going forward and can't tackle or can tackle but run like a cart horse.

IMO I dont rate him. He makes stupid mistakes too often, so IMO he is shit. If you dont agree then fine, Im not forcing this opinion on you.

He hasn't made as many mistakes this season as previous seasons.

If i was the Man utd manager and i had to pick a midfielder from Liverpool i'd go for Mascherano over Gerrard, with Man utds current set up, He would be the new Roy Keane and slot in perfect i reckon.

Brown is shite.

He clearly is not, that is your blinkers that are blinding you from saying he is a good player

No-one says he is world class, but he is a good player, and tbh, i can't really remember a mistake he has done this season for United?

He can certainly tackle that's for sure, and he isn't at all bad going forward

Reina and VDS both make mistakes, and i would sooner have VDS tbh, although if Foster lives up to his expectations then there is no way wold i want Reina at united

EDIT : JR, nani over giggs too in that team you have picked

WTF...you'd have a kid who has little experience over the keeper who has won the Golden Glove in each of his first two seasons

VDS - 21 Clean Sheets this season

Reina - 14 clean sheets this season (not including replay in the cup, or CL qualifiers)

So, judging by how you decide on a better keeper, you would sooner have VDS in your team

No player who is shite play's week in week out for United, and also, no player who is shite, deserves to play week in week out for United

He has kept 7 more clean sheets

And if you want to base it on that then include since Reina has been in English football

Neville managed it for years...and his replacement whilst he is injured has done too.

Slightly harsh to compare them before they were both playing in the same league

i know, i'm jus being argumentative

Happy with our squad, don't really need anyone else (a striker maybe)

Benzema please, he impressed me a lot at OT on Tuesday and is a quality player for someone so young

No, if the united board see's sense and offers him a contract a slight bit higher, we have no need to, i mean come on, he isn't asking for 100k a week, more likely about 50k

And paying him 50k a week for another 3 years or so is a damn site cheaper than signing someone for £10million and then paying him more

I still think he will sign, but i know it will be a matter of principle, if Wes Brown can hold United to ransom to get an extra 10k or so, everyone will do the same

I just think it will be a mistake to let him leave, and have to sign someone costing us more

£10m though would get you a much better player than Brown though. I mean he is the weak link in that defence, in the team tbh.

He has done nothing wrong this season? And has covered CB whilst Vidic was missing a couple of times and done exactly what was asked of him

I find he is a confidence player, when his confidence is high he plays very well, when it is low, he makes mistakes, this season it has been high, as he is playing regularly
