Right found out i was supplied the wrong driveshaft which in turn buggered the wheel bearing and hub,

so that cost me a bomb! atm trying to get a refund/exchange for the right parts.

hoping to have it all sorted soon, and also get the new clutch in there

i never liked the wheels so wanted a change orginally it was going to be xsi wheels but then changed my mind and bought some 205 gti wheels instead and sold the 306 xsi wheels on. They went off to get powdercoated and i purchased some new centre caps, they came back and were fitted by my friend.

as some are aware i planned to take it for a track day, i know it needed a new gearbox but didnt wanna fit the new one and break it so took it around with the old box.

i was impressed with me and the car on the day getting a 51 second around the conned cicuit other times were

49sec Skyline GTR
51sec Mk4 Astra GSi
51sex Civic Type R
1.00 minute 2.0 Capri

heres some pics of her on the way and on track

anywho i dropped it off straight after the trackday and new box was fitted, its lovely know never driven better.

plans include a 4-2-1 manifold and a new set of tyres as these are cheap tat "ditch finders" as Jr an fad like to call them lol

here some standard pics after the gearbox and with the new wheels

Yeah tortion bar is set down 50% which is about 40mm i think if i did it down another notch id have problems with daily driving as its very low and id have to buy new stuff for the front so it didnt look stupid. im happy with ride height

Clutch is slipping a bit at the moment, think its the input seal at the back of the gearbox dripping on the clutch as it only slips know and again and its been doing it for a while from when the clutch was only 1000miles old (and yes i bedded it in) so i have to sort that little isse you

in mean time i got a 4-2-1 manifold and got about fitting it at the weekend
old

To Compare

Fitted

After turning it on so check for leaks

after a 40min drive to the misses house
