What a great result.

Went to San Siro and held the game for the first 45mins. Then did what we needed to for the next 45mins and scored the all important goal.

For me, a 1-0 result again Inter is better than the 2-0 Arsenal got considering how good Inter are compared to AC.

Bring on ANYONE

Very good result agreed, the only team to worry about now are the EPl ones imo.

I loved seeing that result though and the fact we did exactly what we needed and set-out to do, regardless of how inter played

My offer sill stands though, I'll meet any away fans who come to Anfiled.

Although I really mean I'll meet Robbo and buy him a drink, impregnat Jill and smash a glass over Marc/Strick/Ryan.

I'm here cockend - I had other things to worry about tonight without having to come on here.

Inter were the best team tonight, were playing Liverpool off the park until the turning point in the game - the harsh sending off - just like two weeks ago.

Mancini had also told the team before that match that he would be quitting at the end of the season which to me seems a bit of a retarded idea and would distract the players, bad timing imo.

BTW I love your quote:
"inter couldnt have hit a chickens arse with a frying pan tonight! ibrahimavic who?? 2 ace saves by reina in 1st half"
Well if Reina had to make "2 ace saves" then surely that means that Inter "can hit a chickens are with a frying pan"

Just a observation

Oh and the best parts of the night for me?
The Inter fans revealing a banner thanking Liverpool for Istanbull and applauding the Liverpool fans after that sang YNWA towards the end and the Liverpool fans clapping them in return, oh and the fact that Inter played their hearts out and really went at Liverpool, even with 10 men - all of that made me proud to be Interista tonight.

Football doesn't always have to be about the result.

Purrrrlease.

Liverpool went there and stopped Inter playing for the first 45mins. They had once chance and even then Reina rushed out and they put it wide.

The sending off was two yellows, no question, and after that we controlled the game and made the lack of 11 men count. It wasnt our fault, but even so we'd of stopped you scoring 2 goals anyway.

Well done to Liverpool tonight btw, taking nothing away from their achievments and Cosmo is right - it is a bigger achievement beating Inter than Arsenal beating AC (Inter are better than AC and Arsenal are better than Liverpool - sorry Cosmo but it's true!)

I don't think Liverpool will win the CL and I think that will cost Rafa his job - there were rumours about him going to Inter in the summer - I personally don't want him as I don't like his constant squad rotation, but if he does exit Anfield I hope Mancini takes over there, the guy is a good, young manager imo.
