Brown didn't do a good enough of job of stopping the cross. Carrick just stopped and made no attempt to get in front of Adebayor, and Evra was marking no one.

really the rules should be made clearer on this as that worked to your advange then really.

Hesitation shouldnt be alowed on a penalty either not to extent ronaldo does it to,
