Dont really think its stupid - if a player has the ability to pull in £100m+ a season for clubs through merchandise and other ways then they may aswell get a massive chunk of it.

Nearly 16million a year without any bonuses or sponsorship.
That is a bit ridiculous
nothing comapred to what baseball players get etc... altho sounds ridiculous to us!
It's worth noting that they play about 100 games in a season
True but an average of 11 minutes actual play per 'game' (I use the term game loosely btw)

Like $50m+ a year in some cases! Lunatic money put it that way... same with American Football, consider that their seaosn runs late Sept to early Jan
Ice Hockey is where its at Poor money (in comparison) and gruelling schedules

WC Final 94 was held in a pre-dominantly college football based stadium!
Most schools in America have pitches with stands etc better than those enjoyed by some low league English football teams

Why would he open this can of worms before a massive International Tournament? It's not very professional IMO and if I were Scolari I'd be pissed.

He's at the European Championships and he's giving world exclusives to some tin pot Brazilian site no one has heard of?

Yeah some of the stadiums are massive, it's mad.
Just looked up on one of their college stadiums - "The latest addition to the facility is the East Side Club level seating completed in 2006, bringing capacity to 102,037."
Wow.

TBH these days I don't believe abythign unless I actually see it coming out of the players/managers mouth on SSN or see an actual rpess release on the relevant teams website (Arsenal are great fior this as they dont put gossip or bollocks like that on like Man Utd do)

I feel if he leaves cosmo's prediction about not winning fuck all without buying a striker might just come true (by +1 year )
There are 40 reasons why you would miss him tbh
