I am 22.
I am studying Industrial Product Design (BSc) at Aston University. I want to finish there with a 1st class degree. Once I have finished uni I am going to go to either Oxford Aviation Acadamy, Cabair or Flight Training Europe to learn to drive big jets. Think i'll do that for a while until I have an idea and start up my own business.
I also want to own a nice farm in Oxfordshire or Warwickshire

So you're the type of person that makes Uni fee's £3k+ per year, getting shit service from the institution. Nice.

Good pension, I love work, people are friendly and if I ever got bored of the depot I'm in, there are lots more I could transfer too. And I'm getting a nice salary for it all

Don't really know what career I want. I'm only in my current job for the money to be honest! Quite like the idea of managing people/service but would love to be my own boss.
Been doing it since i was 18.
Sucks ass from day 1.
Earing until I can decide what I really want to do with opening my own business, be it in the UK, or not (hopefully)>

Snap, I'd love to work for myself. However I'm learning spanish at the moment to free up an options I have of working abroad in a spanish speaking country.
I also considered the police force, but I hate this country more more so ideally want out in the future

I'd love to become an engineer, or architect, but I don't think I have the mathmatical brain on me, which funnily enough will screw up the PC side too
I watch too much Nat Geo, history, etc etc

Exactly, they're paying you £18k per year, which comes from somewhere, when the job role isn't really there - you admitted yourself you never have any work. I'm not having a dig at you personally, just the institutions and their management.
Yes I know how much foreign (non-EU) students pay.
Yes I know how much they pay in America.
But if you actually saw the state of most Universities, making redundancies, fucking up administration things, you'll find out we don't think £3k is great value.

I do actually do a lot of work this time of year ready for induction and new starters, but through the year its a bit less.
I mostly do all my work ive been set in a few hours as i rush it so i get to use the net all day, but when noones on facebook and its a slow day on here i ask for more work.
And tbh 18k a year is fuck all, after tax and paying towards my pension and union its only about £250 a week i take home.
And i do beleive it costs more than 3k a term for a student in college and uni,the goverment subside a lot of the money.

21 - Started doing IT Tech Support about 3 years ago for ~£15k, 12 months ago I got a job in the same company for a slightly more advanced IT role, working with development testing software and tailoring our services to clients needs and providing product support where I can.
Think my career path in this company has just about peaked, don't plan on staying in IT for long - but I can see myself getting stuck here
