Amen to that.

I love my RS, but if I had to drive it to and from work I would go to prison for murdering someone for travelling in front of me at 29 mph.

5k is a nasty loss in less than a year! and i assume you spent cash on mods upping the loss if you sell. hope you got your monies worth out of it, really bad time to sell at the moment. Lost well over 6k on my evo in a year and a half but it was worth every penny lol

only thing that's really putting me off...is the 350z resale value, they seem to be going for about 15k, i paid 20k in nov 2007

Keep it a bit longer to get your money's worth. Bit of a gamble though.

Some accord/integra thing accelerated past me tonight (think it was an integra), with a big exhaust on, sounded proper crap, as my mates put it you arn't really interested in cars, "sounds like its about to blow up".

A DC2 integra wanted a race the other day, alot of noise and it didnt seem to go anywhere. They may be "hip" but a big loud exhaust makes you as much of a "chav" as a corsa with a big exhaust IMO. Looked like a bell end

Yeah that was exactly my point, same image as buying a bright orange focus when you could have spent the money on something a lot classier, imo.

the mods werent too bad, i sold the original wheels for £700, bought the 20s and put tyres on them for just over 1k, could reverse that if i go to sell the car. exhaust i could sell on, springs were 2nd hand. so wont lose much with the mods

fuck knows. a guy at work has an ek9, might see if i can steal it for a bit.

think to yourself, why did you sell your ek9 in the first place... tbh why not just side grade? different car, same price bracket.... but try and go for something(if its possible) that wont loose so much of its value...

i sold my ek9 because it had done nearly 90k miles and i didnt want to run into any problems, i'd buy one with really low miles. and i sold it because the 10 yr sva test palava wouldnt be needed on 97's not long after, so i sold it when the value was still in the car and the market wasnt flooded with them.

similar cars to the 350z...s2000, z4, tt, rx8, dont fancy any of them.

pretty car, shite to drive, i had one of them too remember

the ek9 thing seems to be a no brainer now for me.

i can realisitcally sell my 350z for about 15k.

i owe 8k on it.

leaving 7k change. i could get a mint 97 ek9 with very low miles for that, under 50,000 miles.

i'd be saving £350 a month, plus i have another loan finishing, so really i would be £500 a month better off. i could save that away as the ek9 running costs will be alot less so i wont miss it, thats £6000 in 12 months i could save for something else in a year when i get bored again, sell the ek9 for around 5k say, £11,000 towards something else again, debt free

thoughts?
