I'm not actually sure, there are lots of various opinions.. Some say all of the X18XE1 engines were 115 but others are saying the Vectra version was 123bhp

I measured the pressure on the 1.2 fuel pump and it maxed out at 2bar which is not enough.. I've now fitted a 2.2 vectra pump and she runs like a dream!

so how have you set up the fuel, as standard is a one way 3.8bar regulator in the tank on a one way system
can you not use a x16xe fuel rail (if same spacings) and then fit a adjustable fpr and wind it up to 3.8bar??
to keep the two way system

I've used a T-piece just before the fuel rail which feeds off to a adjustable FPR so the standard return hose can be used. I compared the rail to a standard X16XE item, it looks close but its easier to just use an aftermarket regulator.
As for the heater matrix, not fixed that problem yet but I will be cutting the hoses shorter, they are about 2.5-3" long so if I take an inch or so off the end the pipes will still fit and clear the inlet

Hassle? Its not hard? The corsa already has the correct fuel lines, You just put a t-piece on the fuel feed and fit the FPR takes minutes and you can get an FPR for £20..
The reason you must use an after market FPR is the Vectra has its fuel pressure regulator built into the fuel pump/filter and the Corsa has the FPR in the engine bay on the end of the fuel rail.

The 1.8 is an F17, I would have used it but it was fubared, the engine sump and the gearbox casing was cracked when I removed it from the car because it had been dropped (the car that is)... I replaced the sump with one from a 1.6 vectra (which was identical) and I got a gearbox from a Corsa C... Which I ended up selling.
