It's not very accurate is the answer.
If you get fast enough speeds when you're downloading etc what the speedtest says means naff all.

Transfer rate 753KB/Sec
Much faster than speedtest.net says my connection is.

EDIT - Just to say, I didnt intentionally go with Tiscali, ive been with Nildram for years but Tiscali bought them out last year. Service has got noticably worse, however there seems to be a glitch which gives us 100% unlimited downloads, when i log into the website to check our usage its always on 0KB
