I had it rollered running standard boost at 240 bhp. I really want to get to the 300 bhp mark. Next on the cards is an increase in boost, the engines done around 3000 miles now, so il start tweeking it a bit more, ideally want omex management when i can afford it, an xe inlet, verniers. Just whatever i need to do to get the reliable 300 bhp figure, thanks for the comments, i cant remember if i spoke to you on sunday?? What car were you in?

*Audio Update* Middle of January 2009 - (Date to be confirmed)

I was never going to get into the audio side of things but thought id have ago after the mrs got me this for xmas Kenwood KVT 522DVDY.

Went up to malvern to see a mate of mine, whos dad ownes a cafe there, got there about half twelve, and he did my dinner, cant beat this -

followed by puddin' cherry pie and custard an levely cuppa

So then after id finished filling my face we went to my mates dads lockup to sort the stereo out, proper ghetto place ideal for a photoshoot, old school tools, equipment etc...

Few pics of the old stereo Kenwood KDC 9590 had it about 4 years, quality it was -

So the dvd player was fitted, havnt got any picsfrom that day, but the plan was freeview! So i had the bits needed -

And for today tried to sort the wiring out, (My mate with one of the looms! lol!)

My mate helping with the preparation for the next part...

*FREEVIEW* Early February 2009 - (Date to be confirmed)

On my next day off i got round to installing the freeview system for the car -
An untidy mess to start with!

Arials x 2 which need to be hidden

After all day, really pleased with the result, its a really good system, uses to dvb tuners so it can be watched on the move. Hid all wires neatly, mounted freeview box and hid arials symetrically, so it was all in a tidy job done

Then turned it all on and couldnt get a signal??? turns out the freeview where i was, wasnt on yet, when digital reception should be everywhere, so went on the internet to see where the main areas were and went for a drive to test it out, its a novelty really, i wantto have a fast car but with luxuries too. So then this is the end result -

Sky Sports too Get in!

Picture quality was great on the tv, just picture didn't turnout that good as taken on phone. Im no electrician, just read the instructions and off i went, insulated all wiring etc... was really pleased with the result! Shit loads of channels, music itv etc.. love it!

*UPDATE* Front Door Speakers 25/02/2009

Got these off a mate of mine, for doin a job for him, a set of Alpine Type S speakers and tweeters, plan is to get crossovers for them to make the most of them, and have a half decent setup, im not crazy into audio but should sound quite good when all setup -
Only got to do the door speakers at the moment -

Before -

After -

*UPDATE* 06/03/2009
Replaced this -

With this - Alpine Type R 10" and JBL amp.

All wired up, sounds real nice and punchy.

*UPDATE* 08/03/2009

Alpine tweeters

Bought replacement surrounds for where the tweeters sit from work -

Then got to work...

Onceall slats were removed, rubbed down to smooth all round, measured up each side so they were both sat i exactly the same place.

Jobs a good un'

Havnt put tweeters in as yet, thats the next job, lol! So thats it for now, comments welcome as always, thanks for looking!

Jay (Plug cover whore!), cheers, def get some pics done asap! Rick, thanks for the comments, long way off anything like yours but il get there someday lol! Robbo, my mate was strippin his xe corsa, and they were fitted to that, i did some jobs for him on it and he gave me them, look on ebay, just to fit the main door speakers you need the adapter plate (halfords or ebay) and something to space them quarter of an inch out as you have to fit them upside down otherwise, good quality though, alpine are renowned for that. Cheers Wooly Thanks all
