I think thats what he is thinking
Nobody has got a Corsa over 240bhp, the standard turbo won't go any further, the injectors are maxxed out, I cannot imagine the pistons, rods will go any further.
There is a guy on VXRonline who claims to have 260bhp, but that is on Regals rollers so in reality it's probably 220bhp.

Corsa's gone, went a month ago Keep up.
I never wanted to do anything to the Corsa VXR, it was perfect how it was, anymore power and it would have detracted from the reason I bought it. Handling and it's ability to put power down better than the Astra out of bends.

Think the VXR engine would go pretty well in a B, It would be completely different animal with the lack of weight in the older corsa compared to the D. Its not something i personally would do but would imagine it be a lot of fun

If it wasn't so expensive to do then it would be a laugh. But those engines aren't going to be cheap for a good few years yet...

You'd be suprised actually. One on ebay at the moment for £1500 i think with only 10k on the clocks.

£1500 is just the tip of the iceberg, what about the costs of having it fitted? £1500 for an engine is more than I'm willing to pay as well.
