Had a cheap xmas and have resisted buying anything in Jan Sales!

I actually have money this side of xmas and am spanking all I have free on paying off my debts!

Can't wait to be debt free and start saving for a nice car!

Why? You live life once, savings are no good when you are dead.

But you need to save to get somewhere in life?

I want a decent house and car with backup if things go wrong.

We have money aside, but don't worry if we are £200 overdrawn at the end of the month like this month, we aren't sweating and shitting our pants because of it.

We just had to pay £550 insurance for the Astra and £400 for the Fiesta, savings took a hammering and xmas present limit was £100 each as a result. So what?

Deposit for a house? Meh, sell a car if it's that important.

I always thought that !

I then tried to do that in July last year just as the economy went gay, didn't work as it was worth less than what I owed on it

Im saving now

I was actually just mugging pow off for boasting how much money he has on a forum. Why would we care how much money someone has? The thread was started just saying he's going to struggle till the next payday

The way he harps on about it he is probably the exact opposite, skint.

I'm skint, no difference from any other month though

Got enough cash for food shopping and diesel for the month - nothing for anything else though.

Would take this anyday though over living with mummy and daddy
