The overheating was nothing to do with the cling film

How d'you reckon? The cling film would of been blocking the grills which means nothing to cool down the rad

sensible reply. ive never understood that either.

I was going to type this but thought I'd better check and alas it has been said. Lets be honest, how many stone chips do you honestly get? My Fiesta was 5 years old and had maybe 3 stone chips? Doesn't warrant having a stupid bit of leather attached to your car

I think it's just a 'scene thing'

You could say that about any modification, there's no point thinking like that. If you like something enough you don't need to warrant spending top dollar on it.

You spend all that money making the car look nice, then ruin it by fitting one of those daft 'bras'. They may serve a purpose, but they officially make the driver of the car in question look like a prat. FACT.

At the end of the day, cars are there to be driven. You drive a car you get stone chips, if you don't want stone chips buy a model car.

If your life revolves around having a pretty/immaculate car, driving or trailoring it to shows for others to walk past and look at, I'd suggest getting a life, not a car bra.

What I dont understand is why you are guaging opinion on here when if you want to do it...do it...its your car?

However I dont see the point to them....people with super cars dont use them and the paint and cost of remedial work on them are somewhat higher than your average hatch

All i wanted was to get some opinions on the matter in hand. I'm not asking for people to tell me what or what not to do. I can do that alone. It was just a thread for discussion on this type of car care. I dont use the care much either only really for shows and meets. Whether you agree with it or not, I don't think that warrents replies like 'i suggest you get a life' Anyway, thanks for your input everyone.

2009 is all about poking 15x8 et0 tbh
