Twice Steven Gerrard has taken the time to condemn foreign players diving in interviews. In one instance he stated that, if he saw a team-mate diving he’d say to them "WE don’t do that here. Cut it out" and that he "jumps off his sofa" when he watches football at home and someone dives.

What was the Bosingwa incedent, i must of missed that (probably at the bar)

I was saying at the start of the game that he's an awful referee and it was proved, although in his defence from the angle he was at. it looked a bad tackle.

Was a shocking decision tho and should get overturned

Benayoun was in the corner keeping the ball, and he just went right upto him and pushed him out of play with a boot in the back!! The linesman, who was right by it, then gave Chelsea the freekick

And agree about the lampard tackle. I was looking from a similar angle to the ref and it looked a really bad tackle, but having seen it on tv it was (although a high foot) a perfectly good tackle.

Still though, Lampard is a cunt.

It was a 50/50 tackle, Alonso went for the smash, Lampard went sliding in. One got the ball the other got kicked. Thats all it was so you can stop fishing now.

Either way, result means nothing to you lot, need to keep an eye on the Everton, Wigan, etc. results.

Those were from Wenger today, and thats to when the last check with the docs is so not even a decent level of fitness.

Yeah but you lot were shite last year, we arent as poor as you. Plus we are 8pts clear of you lot with Torres missing most of that time, now he is back and firing again that gap is going to grow.

Anyway, stop worrying about us and aim to catch upto Villa...learn to walk before you want to run with the big boys

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2009/02/02/sports/SOC-Arsenal-Injuries.php

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger expects Theo Walcott to make his comeback from a dislocated shoulder early next month.

The England striker was injured on international duty in November.

"He has four weeks before he sees a specialist again and then he should get the green light," Wenger said Monday.

Captain Cesc Fabregas said over the weekend that his recovery from knee ligament damage was ahead of schedule, but Wenger was less certain about the Spaniard's return.

"Fabregas, I believe, will be six to eight weeks before playing," Wenger said. "I can understand his optimism, and we hope (that he will be back quicker) but with a medial knee ligament you have to respect the time."

Tomas Rosicky, who has been sidelined for more than a year with a hamstring injury, will have to wait another eight weeks before returning.

It's taken 18 years for you to be able to say that, and even now Liverpool are far from guaranteed a top 2 finish
