I will say what other people have said. Can't do an engine conversion on a budget. What o don't get is that if this so called man is in the know about doing mobby's car, why is mobby asking for peoples help? Nothing against you mobby so don't take this personally i'm just saying.

my problem is, its never enough. something one day will annoy you and more bhp will be needed. thats my downfall i think.

there wasnt a engine at the time, as i told you months and months ago, give me a despoit and by the time you decided you wanted it doing, i would of reserved one...breakers dont get new cars all the time, and he had just sold a complete engine 2 weeks previous
it might as well done, but look at the problems, i had to send you parts, all which i have at home,
of course you can get it done cheaper, my average joe
professional jobs dont come cheap.....

i wasnt willing to wait as the water pump had gone and i didnt want to fix the engine.
the mans got a 400bhp let, hes wired flots of redtops and lets in.
I blame my dodgy 1.2 16 set up, which you mentioned to be completely different earlier. and not alot of people have seen the loom!

im putting an x16 xe into a 1.0 12v at the moment and the wiring is a bit gay as it uses the bodyloom instead of a seperate loom, gonna just use wiring diagram to work it out, just needs a bit of thought working out what wire does what, wiring diagram does help.

If the guy genuinly knows what he is doing, then i see no reason as to why he cant get it running.Cheap conversions can be had.
I got my Corsa XE'd,drove it in as a 1.4 8v(16v sport shell with 8v engine)went back a few days later, handed over £750 and got it back sweet as a nut with a C20XE with welded shafts, the lot.Never had 1 single problem with the conversion.
How much is this guy charging you Mobby??

So you're telling me the wire colours are different and unique to the 1.2 16v Corsa B? I doubt it

Yeah it is different.. You havent got the 9 pin connector in the driver kick panel, *BUT* over in the passenger kick panel you have got two connectors from the engine bay, like the Corsa C. I was having a little mooch around in a 1.2 16v at my local scrappy.
