Time for an update methinks.

First off, a bit of embarassment on my part

Thought my wheel bearing had gone, and the driveshaft, so got the wheel bearing changed, and I never received the shaft, got a refund though.

After nearly 3 weeks off the road, I discovered all that was wrong was loose wheel nuts on the passenger side

Anyways, thats fixed now. Also needed a new drop-link on the drivers side as I noticed the boot was split, so replaced it while the strut was off rather than doing it come MOT time.

Also got a little problem with the coil pack, it works perfectly, but after a lot of running issues, running on 3 cylinders to be precise, found its a connector on the coil, the plastic is broken so the connector can move about when the engine moves, so need to either get a new coil, or just bodge it on

Got a decat and new front spots to go on, then it needs a damn good cleaning.

Another update, cant get pics as both my phone camera, and my proper camera are broken

The 106 broke everyday last week, what a fun car

Exhaust fell off
Anti-rattle clip fell off the brakes (Read, I lost it)
Hazzard light wont work anymore
Alarm fucking up

And now the speedo cable is broken or something, as the speedo isnt working, but the mileage isnt going up either, so not all doom and gloom

I knew I was buying into all the 106 fixing, ive always said they are unreliable shitters, but didnt realise it would be this bad

Better put a better update than that seeing as I got a new camera

Yeah, so the clutch is fucked, never drove it for a week, went to go for a blast and it was slipping like fuck

So ordered a clutch, will be getting done this weekend, along with a load of other jobs for the MOT at the end of the month.

Other things though:

Got a full system for it to compliment my 4 branch, decat supersprint system, excellent quality, sounds awesome, tailpipe isnt the nicest right enough, sticks out a lot and is rather small, will adjust it to sit a bit nicer, but the sound and power difference is great.

Flaky paint

Old bodged system that was on it, need to keep it for the MOT though.

Its luck with the really, have some people that rag fuck out their gtis and it never brakes down, then some that treat it with love and care and it brakes down all the time

Anyways, 16v is underway

Started ripping the engine out, at the point of taking it out, just need to get a shot of an engine hoist.

I really really cannot understand the french car always breaks thing.

No wonder your brakes went on your 206, they were probably on there from new and you were doing 120?

And yes, driveshafts are a pug's weak point, but then I went though CV gators on my Corsa 2 a year and I have a electrical problem with my 02 reg VAG.

Good project though Chirs
