I suppose the problem is we need to find a pub that will "appreciate our custom"

Any family/franchise pub is going to be rammed with sunday lunch customers.

And most Locals will be too 'clicky'

This is why I suggested the Novello as they used to have regular car clubs and they need the business plus the grub is good and they have a big carpark

We can go to service stations or fast food joints but they are not going to appreciate us showing up and they will assume we are there to make trouble

Exactly mate, the two main problems are finding somewhere people are willing to travel to, and finding somewhere we won't get told to leave

Aylesbury centre is pretty good, can park up in town and theres a load of pubs in a square.
