got the engine in an mounted now, just need to do wiring an fit drivers side shaft, exhaust, battery ect. also got the 2.0l calipers on, could do with cleaning up but al do that when engines all running. also discs gone rusty from it just being sat.

after waiting on dvla for a month got logbook back an have to send proof of conversion away too them, more waiting now lol. not too much more too do now just a bit of wiring but am sure the loom i have has been bodged at somepoint

after leaving it for a few weeks an finally getting the loom sorted the engine is in an running,
just need to get bumper fitted an bit of wiring tidied up the get it on a test drive.

also anyone know what hose i need to fit the radiator properly as the one in the kit is too big??? am using the 1.6 16v radiator.

well after gettin another car to use as a run about the corsa was just left sitting for months.
finally got logbook back and changed to a 2.0l so decided to get finger out and finish it, jobs been dun are fitted new petrol tank tiddied up underneath with a bit of painting and also painted rear beam after fitting it with polly bushes an new drums and shoes.

also got a few other parts i've been collecting for it over time
after trying to bend the gearlinkage after in kept hitting steering rack in 2nd and 4th this didnt solve problem so had to but the short shirt kit,
also been gettin a few bits from local dealer, got full set of mats an mudflaps and set of wind deflectors
and got the speedlines back from powdercoating, just need to get a new set of centre badges.

Got everything their to do it. just need a crane and the snow to go away first then its going in nowhere round here rents engine cranes tho

we've swapped about 4 or 5 and not used a crane once, we just jack it up an take engine out from underneath.

aye i thought about that but ma driveways all stones so its no the easiest for putting the car on bricks. oh well ave just bought an engine crane off ebay still gotta paint all the engine up and put all the new bits in but that shouldnt take too long like

If you go to a scrappy the rear badges from pre 97 corsas fit perfectly in the speedline centres ;-) x

after nearly 18months a think it is, the corsa is now road legal lol. got a few little bits to sort but hopefully have it running sound soon,
a few pic's of how it is just now but al try get some better one's sorted soon.

got steinmetz one's to go on, an the arches where already blue but when i went to take bumpers off the arches had been tiger sealed on so had to get new one's. will hopefully get them done but won't be anytime soon.

av had cans from halfords before to try an touch up a bit of rust, an it was one of the worst colour matches i've seen imo

i got my tin of arden blue off of ebay mate. i wouldna trust halfords either
