rite after two and a half days of swearing at it and undoing bults and nuts, moving things around the car is now runing throttle bodies!!! yay! but i just need a longer belt for the altomtor as i have a/c so belt needs to be 5inchs longer so no blasting around just yet.

I must say tho that the nosie is amazing pops, bangs and all sorts, really can't wait untill i get the new belt and can take it for a blast!!

My bracket was home made too!

Also that sounds like normal for them bodies, and throttle bodied cars tend to smell fuely so its ok

yer just standard managment at the moment untill i get the money together for new management

so here we go pics and the up date started this last weekend and have now got it runing proply(little lumpy)

stripping it down taking off the power box and feul rail pluss the loom

then had to get these very hard to reach nuts which i did get to with lots of cuts and swearing lol

whih then i could take of the lower inlet YAY!!!
then it come to building up the new head with thes babys

feul rail went on and loom

then after playing around with the timming belt and timing it up the head was on and ready to be fired up at this piont i relisied i needed a longer altermator belt. But it started after the second time as i had foregot to earth some wires lol.
All is now well and the longer belt is on and she is runing fine just need to keep an eye on it for abit just to make sure.
I think the next stage will be runing an after market ecu and maybe cams but its hard to save for an ring to get engaged plus stuff for the car lol, hope you like aadvice is welcome as i am new to throttle bodies, just some pics of the finished item.

Nah get the plenum on it. The sleeve are just like rubber hose really. Get a length of silicone hose the correct diameter and cut it and get some clips on them. Wish I had kept mine
