I question the sort of people who build up this sort of collection, but not as much as I question those who spend stupid money buying it.

Depends how old he is. I've been buying computer games since the mid eighties (Well my parents did till I got a job  ) The amount of games I have isn't as big as that but I still have several consoles and tons of games.

 dont think you can really comment on the type of person just because they collect games consoles, i have loads have collected them for years doesnt really meen any thing.

Finished at £4,100. Bit gutting for him i'd imagine, he was over that before eBay closed the first auction.
Also, i'd imagine the winner will make more money selling bits on than he has paid, there was proper arcade machines etc in there from what i saw
