Was 27 miles each way.
Now, 12 miles each way.
Does it make a difference??? Well i do 30 minutes more per day, but home 25 minutes earlier than I was before.
Very much worth it, esp going against the traffic.
Still use my bike daily for it though, still much faster and more fun.

70 miles to the office, but it's a company car so they pay.
Not in the office each day, so depends on which site I'm at. Sometimes I only do 8 miles a day, sometimes about 400.
edit: 21,000 miles more or less has been put on the Golf since I picked it up in the middle of January.

Ha, I only do 500 miles a week commuting
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I do about 340 I think overall, not as much as you but I do it in a 1.8T that gets less than 30mpg
