but this began happening when I tried to tap a ciggy lighter in? It must be electrical, not physical.
I'm getting a big headache from this stupid amp now...(well im not but I wish I was).

What fuse am I checking? (does it have a little picture?)
I tried to tap it into the yellow wire marked "battery", I just touched it in there for a second...with no GND connected.

Btw...my old amp was 2x20 fuses connected to the amp, will I need to change any to 25 in the fusebox for this new one to work cus the new one has a single 25 fuse in the amp?

It doesn't need re-wiring, I've followed all the cables, they're all intact, the battery one, the power cables, remote one...ground.
What damage could I have done by putting a wire from a cig lighter into the yellow wire behind the cd player marked "battery", while it didn't have an earth? (it had the wire but I didn't earth it).
cus that's as soon as problems occured
