I use google all the time for spelling, that shows some initiative instead of people who either don't bother or the ones with terrible spelling that then type (sp)

I don't think anyone has a problem with people that can't spell. It's the sheer lack of effort in the attempt that pisses most off. There are spell checkers and of course google.

Firefox has a spelling check, not sure about grammar but it highlights it for you. Everyone should use it.

I've been trying not to point out the obvious one in your post for fear of it being deliberate. You are quite right though, google will sort out most peoples poor spelling. It's the mistakes like the one you made above that google can't help with.

I must admit I usually miss out grammar and punctuation as normally it doesnt go amiss on an internet forum, I do try and spell everything correctly though, if only to get yourself understood

i fucking hate that mate. it's common round my area for people to say "borrow" in place of "lend". i grew up in a shitty town where your coolness was indirectly proportionate to your english skills. therefore everyone would act dumb in order to be cool.
