ive only got a run about now that tbh i may of washed 3 times in 12months.

but when my corsa gsi was on the road id maybe wash it once a month, and when i was out in it people used to ask if it buffed/polsihed/waxed it etc, but i never did, as the paints that good.

but i know a mate of mine will wash the car 1or 2 times a week and another matey maybe 3 or 4times.

not specifically aimed at anyone, but do you thinking people who clean there cars excessively have a form of OCD?

im not touchy, you just came to post crap thats all

Ed, I think they may be too coarse for that application

[Edited on 25-06-2009 by mattfiesta]

And i suppose you coming on here and telling this guy he's wasted his money on something he wanted isnt crap??
Sorry mate but take your beach towel and GTFO!!
He came on to inform us of his new purchase, good for him.
Dont try and tell me i was posting crap when you were the one that dragged this thread off topic!!

So after I replied to blukoo retracting my statement you still feel the need to have another pop? I never said he'd wasted his money, he'd posted about his new products which included some drying towels, I was giving my opinion on drying towels to which people seem to have took offence to, people could have ignored what I wrote but chose to respond instead thus taking it off topic, is that hard for you to understand?

Its public forum full of differing opinions, if you dont like that then I suggest you GTFO

this thread

i clean my car once a week. sometimes twice if i can be bothered because i like keeping it clean and looking good.

you definitely notice the difference between a ''detailed/valeted'' car and one which has just had a bucket of water chucked over it.

also, people spend a lot of money on their cars and of course, want them to look their best.

you wouldn't buy a house and then never clean it would you?

yes used properly by 2 two profesionals that take days sometimes to wash a car, what they do is a profession and you will not achieve those results washing your car on a sunday morning, i like my car to be clean, imo its the best thing you can do, a clean car looks so much better than a dirty 1 but i would not waste 30 quid on some polish, i use auto glym and its fine for me and i always get comments on how clean my car is, i do however need to try a clay bar out.........

I take it all you clothes are frm primark and that you only buy own brand food?

Also if you knew anything about what yu were arguing about you'd know that they both do the same thing differently. Autoglym SRP is none abrasive and fills and hides swirls. Dodo LP is very lghtly abrasive so removes some light swirls and some bonded contaminates

DON'T! Worst thing I ever done. The Megs towel turns hard after a wash and DOES cause swirls!

No need for that really is there? I presume you have run out of rebuttal due to your unneccasary use of course language.

Also SRP is the only polish autoglym make so i don't see where the confussion is, I suggest you consider revising the topic further before you continue to make a fool of yourself.

Also Nic your entitled to your opinion but once again no need for the harsh language. I wish I could persue cars in the way you do but I don't have the skillz.
