Finally managed to get the welding done this week, cut out the old rust:

After afew attempts of welding on old metal etc, and with the help of Tom at work, i finally managed to pluck up the courage to have a go on my car, after cutting an old patch off a Zafira doorskin, heres the result:

All the other rust was taken back to metal, primed and sealed also, to stop it getting worse.

Nocked this up over the week also, using a Insignia wheeltrim badge:

Also, fitted blue clock l.e.d's and fitted some white dashboard l.e.d's to make it look abit more modern:

And also started to attack the bonnet rust:

Thats all for now, probabley get the suspension fitted next week,

Oh and also, its now having a FULL respray

The car as it sits as of now, looking sorry for itself:

Leather seats all in, big thumbs up for comfort

Inside looking abit grubby now, will be treated to a full valet when all the work is finished:

Thats all for now, Off to buy my paint tomorrow and hopefully start prepping it for next week

And my new plates, a pair for road use that read underneath "WWW.CORSASPORT.CO.UK - MORE DOORS = MORE WHORES!"

And the show plates, in the text style of new vauxhall writing:

And finally, the only pic of it all painted:

Ive not got any pics of the front end/rear end all fitted up yet, but trust me, its pure porn! I shall have some by tomorrow night

Id like to give a massive thanks to Kev at work for painting this in his own time for me, he is truley a legend and a amazing painter! even if the laquer used was a year old, he did an amazing job!
