Can you 'live trace' it? This is just me thinking of a bodge, but you could save it as a raster then place it into Illustrator and 'live trace' the shape.

Yeah, tried importing as a big bitmap. Artcut will trace but it came out with zigzags on certain corners rather than smooth curves. And that was like 12k x 10k pixels bitmap.
