with that in mind brits went daft for tim henman and he never won a great deal did he? if all this fails, dont worry, Scotland have produced a good womens player to cheer next year aswell.

Juan Carlos Ferrero has won a grand slam and been world number 1 before, you don't watch a lot of tennis do you?

The Williams sisters have won Wimbledon whilst being outside the top ten, the rankings in tennis are just as bad as they are for club football.

I really can't stand murray but i do think he's a very good tennis player.

He should not be in the tournement though, wawrika should have beaten him & would have beaten him if he didn't get a quad injury.

Murray vs Roddick will be a good match, but im afraid murray will be out pretty soon.

Sooner the better. Nadal normally smashes him in every game so hopefully Federer will.

I did say 'normally'. Nadal always has the edge over him. And saying that in the past Murray has done well over Federer but he won't at Wimbledon.

So you're saying there is a better English player? Murray did very well to beat that lad! As Hammer said, he was world number 1, and he's been playing brilliantly recently

boycey gawn just change the name of this thread to ''England, Scotlands shame'' then we would get a decent arguement about england and scotland because this is what its boils down to at the end of the day. Why cant people just appreciate a good homegrown player.... abit like susan boyle.
