Id have one and throw the daft spoiler in the bin. Then i would rag it round everywhere, i think having one of these cars supoer clean and just sat in a garage is such a massive waste. Unless of course so many do that because they are shit to drive?

Why's it a shame?
its a car.
Its not a supercar
its not that expensive
its not that rare
It has a good audio system, the only poor bit is the screens in the back. Otherwise, whats everyones bef with a bit of audio?
Suprised people arn't whinging that its too clean and isn't driven on the road hence waste of a car or something like that.

Focus RS has been proven to oblitorate a Standard Cossie in every way, so no need to be jealous when you have a better car?

Yeah, its a good looking motor, and a great car in its day.
Just its nothing special at all any more with the advancement of cars.
Like how that old Mk1 Rally Escort was thrashed by a Focus RS mk1 on TG track... things move on, and today, people own them for what they were, not for what they are and can do anymore.
I;d prefer a cossie over a scoobie, or Evo, but i know which ones are far superior..
No, actually, i'd take the Evo

Or am i missing something about life here?

LOL! you want to talk to the police about that, they made the same mistake, high speed rear end lift and a wrote off car!
they are nice but i could never pay the going rate for a car thats half sierra and part escort. maybe i should do the euro millions this week.....

Honestly, you really wouldn't, I'm sure.
Million pound hypercar, or what is effectively a 10 year old Escort - tough choice
Nice car and all that, but I'd far sooner have a just as fast modern car than one of those. In fact similar to VXR, I would rather a current ST than that.

same with the escoss though... it may not be the quickest and best looking thing out there, but damn has it got road presence..
and like the bennelli it has the lust factor... Women will be scrambling to rip your clothes off (disclaimer: the last part may be false)

dont see why anyone is that fussed about the boot build? Ok the screens are daft, but i bet it sounds alot better than a 1993 cassette deck,
just because a focus rs is faster round a track doesnt make it a better car. It has the wrong wheels driven for a start. A std cossies will be slow, slow but the appeal of them is the same as the Mustang in US, std carr not so great but the upgrades are what make it a beast, not to start with styling being one of the most radical designs even to this day.....
Escoss bashing is not for this thread
i wanna buy one, who wants an M3?!

When my Escort was parked next to my Evo 9GT, everyone always wowed over the cossie and not the Evo.
They are totally different cars to drive, in totally different leagues.
My Evo pins you in your seat, my cossie snaps your neck. There both fast in there own different way.
I've had my cossie for eight and half years now, dont think i'd ever sell it really.
