All down to the DJ playing a demo CD of his birds who was trying to get her music career of the ground. Gerrard & Co. didn't like it so asked them to stop, so he put it on repeat

If he gets done for Affray, then he'll get a fine and some sort of community service/suspend sentence i'd imagine.

Where did you hear that rubbish?

Its cant see how its true as the guy wasnt even the DJ. The actual DJ had gone on a break, and the Manc had the card thing that controlled the music and allowed him to pick what he wanted on. Gerrard and his group wanted said card but he wouldnt give it them.

Got it from someone I know who is a Liverpool fan and knows the Southport chairman. How he knows I have no idea though.

To be fair, its hardly a bar brawl, it lasts no time at all. Gerrards involved, can't really see for sure if he is really doing anything from that video or not. And another thing, if there is any professional boxer out there that punches like that he would have a record of nothing but defeats

McGee gave his evidence in court today and didnt mention anything about this so Id doubt its true.

If he gets away with this hes a lucky lad. How can you claim self defence when your mate (clear cctv pics shown on tv) has had his elbow in the victims face just seconds before?

Also, hes admitted hittin the bloke so why does the fact u cant tell it was saint steven mean anything?

Im not saying he didnt hit him, I havent said that in any of this thread.

Ive said 2 things...1. That CCTV doesnt clearly show Gerrard hitting him. 2. If it did then the CPS would have Gerrard up for assault and not for affray.

Do you honestly think for one minute that if the evidence the CPS has showed Gerrard even nearly causing an assault charge (which smacking him 3 times in full view of the CCTV would be) that he wouldnt be up there right now facing a much more serious charge?!

He is basically saying he didnt see his mate smash him in the head with his elbow, but he MAY get away with it as McGee also didnt realise it was Gerrard's mate who did that (according to his report) so went to defend himself against Gerrard.
