Varmaelan looked good tonight, seems to be a good signing, not French or 15yrs old either.

One thing I did notice tonight was Arsenal players constantly rolling around on the floor. no denying most were free kicks but just get up and carry on

Assured performance, not brilliant but good enough and celtic made it hard, we got lucky with the goals but as said you make your own luck and you have to get into these positions to get the goals

Shame the Celtic players had to try and limit Cesc by just knocking hiom over every 2 minutes, last laugh though as N'Guemo misses next leg.

Early doors but Vermaelan looks supoib so far and a decent partnership in the makign with Gallas, 3 goals between the 2 in 2 matches too.

Agreed we made the most of fouls but I wodner if they were trying to make a point due to the amount of times they were knocked over. meh

Absolutely typical. The greatest footballing side the world has ever seen beat us by a deflected goal he tried to get out the way of and an own goal.

Vermaelen is a player btw, MOTM by a distance for me.
