You just stare at network connection speed screens all day don't you and drink coffee and wear jeans.
I'd happily do your job, esp if they pay my way in

Not the company I was told it was. I need "normal" people, not a "by the book stick a ruler down the back of your shirt and stand up straight, cross your t's and do this do that" company.
Maybe somewhere where I could actually talk at a social level, someone into cars and bikes n stuff.
Seeing as i've been in IT 9 years, u'd have thought i'd have worked with at least SOMEone who's into cars and bikes by now, but nope, no-one has any interest at all.
I need a social friendly company, not a by the book company.

I deal with shit cunt traders, I deal with people who wont take my good advice, just a bunch of cunts pretty much.
Have a look at this, I would deffaintly try and apply for something like this when I'm ready to pimp myself out
http://www.jobserve.com/E-Trading-Support-Trading-Technologies-ORC-Unix-London-Permanent-W9C98D72ACA55498E.jsjob
Its all good sitting in jeans and drinking coffee listening to radio1 but while I'm young I need to push myself and see how far I can get before I look at myself and I've been at the same place for 10 years doing the same shit every day.

One big happy geekfest
Nah would be cool, i'd like someone i can chat about the racing, cars, sport etc...but most the time end up being told by a nurse or secretary that their daughters best friends auntie just had a baby and now she is a godparent or something else that i have equally little interest in.

Whats wrong with that? I'm going to earn 28k this year from doing exactly what you described. I have no qualifications, not a single thing. I started here 10 years ago on 10k a year franking post.
I do next to nothing some days and I enjoy that, so fucking what? Not all of us are motivated towards careers and pretending to be something we're not.

I want to take risks to earn money while I have nothing really to risk, I have no car payments, no loans to pay off or anything, same reason I look into contracting.
Added to the fact I'm completely capped at the moment, no overtime, no performance bonus, nothing like that.
Also I'm bored and its really starting to piss me off, would be nice to be content with it because its enabled me to do stuff I wouldnt normally be able to do at a work place (like label up 100 letters for corsa sport tickets)
