Do these £500 bodykits look good too? Every single rep I've seen has quite obviously been a rep. Ripply shitty bodykit, gaping gaps everywhere, incorrect arch liners, everything just looks wrong and shit.

GRP always warps.. If you take the time fitting it right it can look fine, it just takes effort!

Sadly I never actually finished it (as you know) but it was a rolling shell with an engine in it

Could smuggle immigrants in the arch gaps too.

i meant fabrication wise

if i was doing it, make it FWD and non wide arch, and it will still be quicker than a v6

But a LADA and a Reliant are such piss poor cars to start with other than crushing them down and turning them into Beer cans there isnt much else you can do with them that would be considered 'fun'.

Thats as much to do with the quality of the guys work who fits the kit as it has to do with the quality of the parts.

I've been looking at a couple of shots I found of a Clio V6 under-chassis.. Its PROPER basic! In fact the chassis rails remind me of what I did on my Nova

Thats ridiculous. The question wasnt, should I buy a lower spec clio and put a v6 badge on it.

You're ridiculous

End of the day, it won't be a "Clio V6", there's no argument about it. Same as a Turbo 2000 wouldn't be a WRX. Same as an Audi A3 with a K04 turbo on isn't an S3. Same as a 106 with Rallye stickers on isn't a Rallye (I'm sure you personally would be very offended at that one lol).

Good one.

I see your point. I didnt imagine it would be made to fool people into thinking it was an original v6, just borrow the body styling.
