lol, house I'm buying is £116,995 for a 2bed new build terrace with carport, and I'm buying a 75% share, works out about 87k.
It's not all that bad in wales, but it's not all that good in newport tbh

I hadn't read the whole thread so thought you were getting one for £45k.
The price you're paying isn't that much cheaper than what I could get here so sod the commute.
Whenever I have Kiss on in the car there always seems to be shit traffic on the M4. Don't think I could cope with that everyday

lol nah didn't bother with the 45k one, it had a lot of interest, I may ask what it sold for, thought by the time I've paid over the odds for it, I'd have to find money to do it up, and then it wasn't even that nice an area.
Then after speaking to an IFA, went looking at newbuilds. I tend to avoid the m4 myself these days it's hell on earth! and the section through newport is now littered with specs cameras, easier for me to drive across the city.

According to google it would only take me 38 minutes to get to Bristol but I can gaurantee it would be at least double that with all the shitty cameras along there now

the other week I did Newport to Bristol in 25mins, but in the evening, it takes 10mins to get from the West end of Newport to the centre of Newport, I currently live about 2mins from brynglas tunnels, so it's a nightmare.
