About tenner, just get a pannel filter.
Don't know if this would make any changes, but what about 1.4 throttle body, and cams etc?

No mate, just the throttle body, cams. I double it would improve anything.
Just leave engine mate, till you can afford a bigger car/engine.

You can still use your filter mate, i would. I wouldnt put it to waste. Just do your airbox leave filter. Free mod ftw!

yeah thats true, well i was going get a 1.6 sport in january when my car insurance is renewed (you dont even wanna know what that costing me! you think the subs are ripping me off!!! more than are shit!!!! could afford the deposit in january though so had go with one that didnt need one) but in the end i had a think and thought, this car hasnt been thrashed and is in alright condition, just need a bit of money spending on it and it will look ok, plus i have done it my self then, but going wait till im 21 now as i get a car off the parents, i want a 2 litre redtop

Mate, my 1 litre is 2 grand on my own.. Am just greatful i can go on my dads for a year. 50 quid a month ftw.

Thats about 90 real speed ;-) Which is pretty average, I got 126 recorded on the gps in my sport
