Yes, its called supply and demand, and is the basis of any free market economy such as the UK.

We demand products of a certain type (i.e. Fosters, Stella, in fact all the shite in Supermarkets) and they supply it. If we didnt demand it they wouldnt have it on their selves gathering dust.
