My bros UK classic with the 240bhp WRX engine fitted used to get left by my 5th gen Honda Prelude 2.2 Vti Auto, which by all means isnt quick with only 185bhp.On the go from 30mph upwards i could pull away with ease.
Don't talk shit there not slow at all
And this is coming from someone who's owned 4 scoobys with my last running 320 brake and now having a 'Slow' UK classic.
It was RR'd at just over 240bhp,done the 1/4 in the 14s.Was standard bar an AWD downpipe and magnex system.
Are you a member on Scoobynet??I can point you to the link of said car with said power and times. What boost do they run standard??0.8bar??If so then his was spot on.Ran perfect too.
Maybe my prelude is quicker than i thought.
240bhp in a 4wd car like a scooby isnt going to be al that quick from a rolling start with the 4wd system remember.

Giving it some on a straight bit of road isnt exactly hard to do(easier for me as the Prelude is an auot/tiptronic).
I have no doubts that it would bud.Well done.

Its still going to have similar torque as well and kerb weight of the classic is circa 1160kg iirc?
I appreciate some AWD transmission losses but im on my 3rd scooby and I think 30-70 is a pretty strong area due to good torque. road tests always show strong in gear times also, i think AWD losses are exaggerated imo.
Ie my Sti V4 pretty much standard was 300/294 and my modded classic WRX was 340/330. My blob STi is 330/315 and noticebly slower then my earlier ones due to lugging around 1450kg.

The 240bhp WRX engine makes around 220lb/ft and i think they weigh around 1250kg so not exactly light.
As said earlier, maybe my prelude is quicker than it feels.
