I personally have never had a play with a 20xe corsa, theres none up here atm

1.6 sports have no chance though, 1.8 Cs were dispatched easily with the 8v, never mind the 16v.

I think I've got valid grounds to argue the case, since my last car was a stripped to the bare bones XSi 16v

I wouldn't be surprised if it's faster. That one was quick, but the engine made some funny ass noises

Hell yeah it did, bottom engine mount was fucked too, what a rock was in the engine

It was up for £500 recently too, no MOT though iirc.

Never even been near a RR myself, would est them both to be around 130, blue one will hopefully be 150bhp, 200bhp/tonne by the time its on track.

Should be fun,150 is the minimum I'm aiming for with my Nova too (1.6 16v). Fucking better get it with the money I'm spending.

Gotta be throttle bodies for a realistic chance of 150bhp on the 1.6 , much expense. Unless you go for cams, inlet, full exhaust, remap etc.

Ive only driven one 106 16v that was cammed, one of my brothers old GTI's, and it left my dads 206gti 180 for dead. Though saying that, so did my yellow XSI when it was 16v. Ive always said those 206s are shite

I want a nova, I grew up with them, learnt all I know cars wise by working on them. Brother had 9 of the fuckers

I'm not going throttle bodies yet but I would kill for some, I am going for, bigger high compression pistons, block bored out to suit, cams, inlet, good exhaust, head p&p, remap.

That better see at least 150 bhp.

Then I'm going 106 Rallye and VTS hunting

Just do the norm and stick a rebuilt XE in it, easy 150BHP then

My brothers nova XE was easily the fastest N/A car ive driven id say.

Nooo, get them sold, buy some XE rods and pistons

Eck, tec? I didnt find my cousins EK9 anything special tbh, friends DC5 fair dogs on though tbh. Although my view of tec has been tainted by my barges feeble attempt at vtec, runs as a 2.0 12v untill vtec (4.5k) then its a very disapointing 2.0 16v till 6.5k or somthing

Exactly the same for me mate Nightshift Tomorrow! Aye tec isn't all that tbh, but my mate's B18 CRX fairly shifts and a B20 with B16 head conversion isn't that expensive! 200+ bhp with 160ish ftlb torque so best of both worlds! But aye, I'm off to the NS thread as this one has been spammed to death

VTR is slower than a 1.6 Sport

Saxo = 2Ncap stars
Corsa = 3Ncap stars

Plus the Corsa doesnt buckle in the middle of the chassis in the Ncap vid unlike the Saxo.

Corsa will be more reliable!

Corsa anyday
