we do the support for the dvtel cameras and some other items.

I've heard the cameras around here are shocking and some of them filming at the wrong resolution or something.

yeah the encoders in the actual unit always need replacing.
the annoying thing is that they let them build up pallet worths of faulty kit, instead of sending it when it funks up.
