£500 million for a 60,000 seater What is it with you guys paying way over the odds for a stadium? Didn't Wembley cost around £800 million? It's a very nice stadium but certainly not worth £800 million.

Where have you got £500m from? Its not going to cost anywhere near that given steal prices are on their arse at the moment.
And it'll be something like 72,000 capacity once built, the 60k one (which was the max the council would allow before a transport plan was designed) has an away end that is about 10 rows behind one goal.

Smaller than Old Trafford still. I guess they'd struggle to sell all the tickets as it is anyhow

Yes, but you would struggle to sell a smaller number of seats. So we still win

We'd sell out 65k without a problem for 99% of games imo.
We have a waiting list (a clean one as was redone when we got the plans for the new stadium) of over 60,000 for season tickets. So even if only 25% of this took up the option it would put us over 60k sold.

Attendance last night against Wigan was 74,560.

Emirates is your standard out of the box bowl stadium - its exactly what we didnt want. This is a unique design with 4 different stands.
Id expect it has taken some big inspiration from the best parts of stadiums such as the Emirates and also all the new stadiums in the US that HKS have designed.

Just all a bit the same arent they and boring.
Not OT, thats evolved in to that shape and is still different, but the new ones that are built that way.

I've never been to the Emirates so I'm not really sure whats its like when you are there. It looks alright from what you can see on the TV though.
What will this look like inside thats different? Presumably it just doesn't have the corners filled in with seats

One is a bowl shape, same on all sides. One has 4 unique looking stands much like 90% of current stadiums out there that have evolved over the years.
Its got nothing to do with the corners being filled in, you can have them filled in and the inside not look the same all round.

Away fans will be in the stand opposite the kop, as they are now. No idea which tier.
The bottom of the corners are connected more or less all round. As said its nothing to do with the corners being connected, its to do with the whole thing not being a bowl looking things identical all round.

I like it apart from where you can see daylight in the corners. Seems strange leaving it like that, maybe just because I'm not used to it
