following this on engadget, they're posting photos every few seconds almost!
It looks very sleek and sexy, in the well built way apple makes their products.

If it was OSX, it would be extremely useful but limiting it to it basically being a bigger version of the iPod Touch seems a little bit silly to me. And the snipe at Netbooks seemed a bit uncalled for, especially considering it does a lot lot more than the iPad, oh and i can use flash apps
Regarding flash, huge let down that they haven't just given adobe lowlevel access to the iPhone OS (i know there is a Java version but it's extremely limited). They really are shooting themselves in the foot with not having flash, especially on the iPad.
Looks smart though, but not overally impressed - seems to be a bit of a gimmick rather than something useful (btw, i'm not an apple 'hater', use apple products daily).
edit - give it a few months and someone will (hopefully) manage to stick OSX on it, might actually make it a worth while purchase then.

They're nice. Though I'd end up using that in bed to browse the web and stuff, making my iphone obselete
Edit: Totally agree about Flash. I was hoping when that placeholder appeared he'd go in Settings and turn Flash on And then I hoped they'd filter it down to the iPhone! Ah well.

Definately needs flash. You can't go offering something as an alternative to a netbook without all websites fully working on it.

Hows that? its a tablet not a PC? Your not going to use it like a PC.

I still think it needs apps that means you can replace some of the actions of a laptop, i.e. you can take it to Uni or work and do some general word processing, etc. on it. So its more than just a big iphone.

Depending on the prices I would use it exactly as I use my laptop 90% of the time.
Short forum messages, emails and browsing.
If I need word processing I'd still expect to use a laptop, but for day to day browsing more than happy to use a pad.
As I say though, without flash its pretty crippled at even doing that.

Well given that the Iphone 32GB is... £549, I think you could safely add £200-£300 on top of that for the 32gb IPad?

Almost the same price as the Iphone?
I doubt that very much.
