Well...
Head has been taken off and bottom end looks ok,head is away getting the works inc pressure test/skim...
Got my rocker and timing belt cover back off my uncle
Originally wanted them silver but my uncle made the decison for me as he said it will look better 
Been raping the paypal balance...AGAIN!

Seen a few people on here who used the 'twag' conversion looms so got one for myself to save chopping and taping wires,looks a great bit of kit
Head should be back end of this week all going well and it can finally start getting pieced back together

Full pressure test and skim
3 new valve guides
Full set of core plugs
Bought these to fit in it while its being built up,why not eh
Also won this off the old ebay,not the leather one but who can complain for 99p!!! The guy dingied me for days as he obviously didnt want to let it go so cheap,i had emailed him asking how much to buy it now,he said £35 posted i offered £30 posted,he said no i will let the auction run...silly cunt!!!
Cant wait to get the thing finished!

What part number are the cams? The ones I've got didn't turn in the head, and had to grinder the wells out to get them to turn
They add loads of power

Well...
Got the head back from JEM engines
Full new set of core plugs
3 new valve guides
Pressure test and skim
Also had to get 3 new inlet valves and 3 sets of collets
Hopefully not long now

Head has been getting built back up
Had full new set of valve stems fitted and new cam seals but didnt get pictures
Piper fast road cams in
My deadline is the fast and modified show at the end of july,hate not having the thing in this weather

no just he is doing it between other jobs. plus he is fiting the nos into the kms,macking the exhaust then its maping time so not a 5 min job lol..

New baffle plate
Everything is all ok in there
Baffle fitted
New head gasket
Head on
New water pump,timing belt tensioners and oil filter
Been treating myself again 
Very close to the finish line,cant wait,hope its all been worth it!

Should be an allen key bit inside the threaded bit.
