Tell me about it. If the road is slightly damp, it spins and understeers all over the place. I've been told the OEM Bridgestones are a bit pants though. Might try some F1s next. The JDM CTR gets an LSD, it should have at least been an option in the UK.

I've got a CTR. It's not the quickest car on the road (although most owners over at www.civictype-r.co.uk like to think so) but it handles brilliantly out the of the box. The engine, as with all VTECs, is love it or loath it. Drive a turbo-charged car and you won't understand what all the fuss is about. If you enjoy thrapping through one of the best gear changes you'll find anywhere, you'll absolutely love it. Could definitely do with an LSD and another 50bhp though. Very expensive to tune.
thnink your wrong about the turbo charged car driving experiance. how many turbo charged cars have you driven. both systems have their good and bad points but don't diss the turbo with out at least tellimg me what turbo charged cars you have owned/driven for prolonged periods

they also bounce around the road if it is anything other than smooth. should have seen the one that was infront of me the other day going to asda by ibrox. going along in traffic and the car is bobbing all over the place casue the roa ds are not smooth

Vibs...you're being a bit over-defensive there old chap. Where exactly have I 'dissed' turbo charged cars? I'd take an STi or an Evo over my car any day of the week. I'll try and make myself a bit clearer....a turbo charged car driver, who is used to lots of punch and torque in just about any gear, will probably not rate the revvy nature of the CTR. Is that better for you?
I should have re-worded it....."if you own a turbo-charged car you won't understand what all the VTEC fuss is about".
FYI my first car was an MG Metro Turbo but I try not to think about it!

Focus RS Please
As Vibs pointed out the Seat can easliy be tuned,it has VW quality and is nice to look at.
I love the CTR but heard mixed opinions the performance to be honest. If i had the choice of a jap car it would either be the s2000 or a Integra Type R.
The Astra is best value for the money, nice handling, best top end(?) Turbo. But is a bit Bland but this can easliy be sorted
