'Oh dear. A corner is floated in from the left and Joao Bruno Fernandes rises, completely unmarked, to power a header past Pepe Reina. Where was the Liverpool defence? Nowhere to be seen, that's where. The Romanians level the tie on aggregate - all to play for then.

1818: GOALFLASH Unirea Urziceni 1-0 (agg 1-1) Liverpool (Fernandes)'

Was a shocking goal to concede, have been all over defending for the last few weeks now too.

Pitch is awful, worse than Wigans imo, and the grass is so fucking long its impossible to make a pass without it slowing up.

Still, 2-0 up now and should be home and dry.

@ city, although I wouldn't have mided them going one more stage, nice to see adebayor is banned although think tevez is back for the chelski game?

We're gonna win 3-1 tonight.
I hope you put that bet on

Decent result on what was a fucking god awful pitch. Just so boggy and long grass, could not play any sort of passing game.

Played semi-decent, performance was certainly not the aim here, it was the result which was obviously a good one. Now time to concentrate of getting Torres, and possibly Johnson on the pitch on Sunday, along with Benayoun and Kelly getting games today, our injured players are finally getting back
