am intrested in a set but before you add me to the list could you please tell me what the hell hi-beams and low-beams people are talking about here...
i havnt a clue about hid's..(new to me) i want all functions on mine have these got the flash hi beams low beams etc also will these work with morettes (for corsa b) which is the best sellers and best ones to go for?? as i havnt a clue between the few you have for sale
[Edited on 04-03-2010 by kevcr]
The hi/low beam mean that in one bulb you have two filaments on standard bulbs. The hids replicate this by having a cover over the bulb which turns when you want more light, when you want to flash or see further etc. So you will need this kit for a corsa.
I'm not 100% sure on the morettes, i think they are stil the h4 hi/low ( standard corsa bulb ) can anyone confirm this????
The most popular one as you can see on the list is the 6000k one as it gives a nice blue hint but not too much.
cheers need to no if these will work with morettes am intrested in a set?
anyone got these fitted to morettes that can help

Morettes use H4 for the outer lenses. It's what i'm using on mine with HID bulbs.

The H4 kits will either have 3 HID filaments per bulb and 2 ballasts per bulb.
One filament is for dipped beam and one for main beam. Only trouble with this gtype is HIDs take a few seconds to warm up so when flashing they're not very bright.
The kit i'm getting has one filament per bulb and a solenoid to move the filament when you flash to change the beam pattern.

The HIDs wont be in your inner lenses, I just have standard bulbs in there.

Thanks for that mate.
These HIDs are the same as your talking about, the solenoid moves the filament so there is no delay for flashing like some kits.

HID Kits are not road legal because the requirements for HID Xenon units are headlamp washers, light levelling (automatic) and projector lenses. Its easy enough to take them out though for MOT time. As for getting pulled...cant imagine it being too much of an issue if you go for a sensible colour temperature.

Hold your fucking horses?
I asked a question which it transpired you may have answered wrongly yet you put me on the list!?!
If it is £50 delivered for what you quoted then I am in, if not then I am out.
EDIT: Unlike 95% of this website I am not a time wasting bellend but I do resent being placed on a fucking list when I asked a question, albeit with a serious view to buying.
I take exception to being put on a list which makes me look like a non-payer for a cheap item. IF I put my name on something and commit to it, I will pay immediately - see the carbon GSI bumper thread.
