what people seem to fail to realise is that we are a business, not a charity. the price we offer is a fair price based on the current condition of your car. as for people saying what they paid for it etc, thats all good and well but you are a private individual buying the car to use, we are a business buying a car with a view to selling it on,TO TRADE for a small profit so using the st above as an example... you paid 14, we offered 12. if it is in the exact condition you described, we would pay 12, maybe sell it to a dealer for 12.5 for a quick sale. job done.

again we are a business, we are not unfair with our prices. if we buy a car for retail value who do we then sell the car to to make profit???

You should consider branching out to Australia mate, seems you blokes pay a fair price for second hand/pre-loved vehicles.

lol at the comment we pray on the desperate...first of all its PREY... and second of all, what a complete muppet comment.

the customer visits website
the customer gets quote
the customer makes appointment
the customer visits site
the customer gets a more accurate quote based on actual condition
the customer accepts or declines quote
customer leaves

do you see the pattern there???

not really mate, we dont buy at trade and then sell retail, that would make the whole purpose of existance pointless, we buy at trade, sell to trade for small mark up to keep the flow of cars quick and constant

I don't see why people complain about being offered low figures, do they not understand how business works?

Exactly. Its like people complaining when the gold places dont give them the full market value....its because these guys are then wanting to make a profit, as businesses do.

They arent there as a charity to give you the full amount you want for your car.

finally somebody who agrees lol, i see you make many valid comments/points on the site so i appreciate you taking the time to make a post lol

yes we do buy cars with finance, if there is a negative equity then obviously we need the balance paid back to us, otherwise the balance is given to the customer.

reference the part ex comment on the ibiza.... you will obviously get more from a part ex as the dealer has something you want in return and as such, will make his markup on the price of the car you are buying from him

Parkers px price on mine is less than WBAC is offering LOL

Do you ever give more than screen price, like mines is individual & limited edition so is really commands a higher premium, yet I cant choose that on the online form thing, so if I took it down & pointed this out would there maybe be room for haggle........or does it not work like that?.

negotiations can be made however from a resale point of view for us, the only things that will genreally increase the price is customer error, selecting an incorrect model.also if a car is fitted with, sat nav, dvd or full leather and these are not factory fitted options these can also sometimes have an increase on the price
