Power wash
Shampoo (With Mitt)
Rinse (With Rain Water)
Dry (With Drying Towel)
Rinsing with Rain water is the key to this easy way of washing without getting any streaks at all and easy drying!

I do usually have lunch before or during waxing tbf. Can take up to 4 hours

Does no one on hear seal it after polishing?
This is my routine maybe once every 2 months.
wash with 2 buckets
Dry it with a couple microfibres
spray some tar remover on the lower have and sponge off then rinse
Clay bar the car
polish with Auto Glym SRP buff that off
Rinse and dry
Seal the full car using Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection stuff buff that off
Rinse and Dry
Then Wax with Auto Glym High Defenition Wax
Water literaly runs off the car, I can run the hose over the bonnet and there is literaly 2 - 3 beads of water and the rest runs off.
you tube AG High Definition wax and you will find videos of people drying their car with the hose lol!

Do you have a water butt?
On lighter coloured cars you can even get away with just rinsing with rain water. But as anyone will know that has washed a dark coloured car rinsing with water leaves you streak marks.
You will be amazed by the difference tbh

Never noticed the post before mine so I look silly now . Rinsing a black car with a hose is murder gotta dry it asap or it leaves marks, even have to go over it sometimes with quick detailer

spent a full day on this about a month ago
foam with apc
rinse
foam with ssf
rinse
wash with 2 buckets and 2 mits
dry
clay
polish with poorboys world polish
seal with carlack 68
wax with 2 coats of collinite 476s
and normally on a saturday since its been foamed and rinsed, dried and gave a once over with red mist, keeps the car looking good and helps with hangovers

still not getting this rain water pish.
Do you mean rinse it with tap water from a watering can with spinkler thingy? If so... why call it rain water?!?!?

He means you collect rain water in a water butt and use that to rinse, tap water has been treated and streaks! I think all water streaks anyway, if you don't want streaks after wiping off you've gotta quick detail/polish it

As Graham says
Gathered rain water doesnt have Chlorine in it (which causes the streaks) and really does help with drying etc. As long as the water is clean and not Stagnant.
I fill a watering can up and rinse the car from the roof down, without the rosehead on. doing it this way make most of the water run off, rather than leaving loads of droplets everywhere. Give it a try if you can

Next i'll be crushing rose petals into the wax to make it smell better.
Cheers for the tips - but collecting rain water is taking it way to far for me.

Yep I always dry it straight away. Virtually run to the garage to get the towel so the sun doesn't bake it on and leave marks There's usually the odd run or two coming down from the wing mirrors or corners of the rear windows

I used to spend hours cleaning my car. I haven't cleaned a car now in about 18 months. Really can't be arsed. I start, get about 2 hours in and get very bored. I just pay the immigrants now.
