JUst ordered some of that chain cleaner you posted. A job I'm not looking forward to.

Tyres are crap that are on the bike just now but I'll just ruin them over the next few months and get some nice sticky stuff for the good months.

that stuff is quality like kano, i have used it for years.

put the back wheel on paddock stand, get a bucket or something comfy to sit on, spin the wheel whilst spraying this stuff on chain, once fully covered, get a paint brush and give it a good brushing all the way round, then give it another spray then a wash with pressure washer, then coat it in your preffered lube!

should get good results

Cool, is it reasonably paint friendly then? Dont want to see the paint running off my wheel as I'm doing it.

i've got some more Dunlops to go on mine. A qualifier, and the next one down (still match together).

2nd hand, used on 1 trackday (and not hard by the looks of it). £75

£160 for £75. That'll do my road trip.

Old mans going to bail me out to get the carbon whilst its on offer. Gonna try to get the order in today

Anyone want a Ducati 748R, with only 300 miles on it, in navy blue. Mage rare, mega low miles!!!

bet that ducati is up for silly money?

i was bidding on a set of supercorsas on saturday night, was getting intense and my internet was running slow, just lost out on them £59+ postage. they were scrubs, but would have lasted long enough on the road/track. gutted!

watching another set on ebay, but they are upto £75 already

ahhh your old man is a star, thats quite an impressive website, pity they dont do anything for ricers

Oh yeah the carbon company. Well tbh dude, drop Peter an email (contact on the site). I spoke to him today and he can speak english.

If your going offshoare, maybe you could send him your fairings and he can make some moulds in carbon and do a nice big discount.

Thats how I got some hoses on my old car. 2 sets too as they done the wrong colour

Dean...
Tyres a weird thing, some feel great, some feel awful. You can read lots of opinions, facts etc, but really its personnel preference. Get yourself a demon tweeks bike mag and each manufacture has a chart in there. It shows each model of tyre, and where it fits in. Be it full track slicks, or road legal slicks (might as well be ), or touring tyres (so hard compond).

If your mainly riding on the road, with the odd trackday, then you can get combination tyres, good grip but last longer. Some have a harder compound in the middle and softer on the outside.

SHop around online for tyres. Busters does some good deals, thats where i get mine from (the do deals on pairs).

i agree that some rim tape looks pish, especially if its the wrong colour, you can get the white for my bike, and i know a guy who has it, but the red just suits it soo much better..... in my opinon anyway!
