Should be home tomorrow evening so depending how i feel i might wash the bird turd off it and make a start.
Got a handy list compiled of stuff i need to buy. Aim to check oil pressure on Monday when i have my mates mechanical oil pressure gauge and also check compression at the same time.

Home this evening so time for some work. Started with a one bucket detail, foam wash and a sponge down with tap water:
Whipped inlet and exhaust bits off the KKK to check for play and also to make sure there was nothing lingering around:
Discovered some creative bog in the cross member so needs a few plates welding in:
Top hat is far to close to the bulkhead i think?

TBH nothing to stop me cracking on with it and trying to make it run tomorrow. Engine does look like it breathes quite a lot though looking at the inlet on the turbo. Might be pressing a coke bottle into action...

Been cracking on with it today. Got a major issue in that its got no oil pressure at all but this could be down to the battery not having enough juice in it to crank it over fast enough....
Anyhow i have sorted the PAS setup, the bits pictured below are not conducive to a good PAS bracket and pump setup:
And here it is built up properly and ready to go:
Strangely the alternator bracket is built up with a similar mix and mash of parts.
Then i started on the loom, i was looking to braid it but i cannot be funked. Instead i will just neaten up the funked bits of cover.
Loom was a worry but nothing i should not be able to sort out.

Its now got something that resembles oil pressure after much messing around.
Need my new plug leads to arrive now, throw some new plugs in it and try starting it again as the plugs are fudged and this is stopping it starting i hope.
Clutch plate arrived:
